This is a great reel for trolling for billfish, tuna and dorado .it can also be used for stand up fishing for billfish , big tuna , wahoo and giant grouper. being a two speed reel it can handle those long battles with magnum sized fish ..Avets reel have their famous dual caliper drag . washer with brake disk that allows you to shut maximum pressure on fish by utilizing a large amount of drag pressure... for this reel around 45 pounds ...this reel was used in Mexico 24 days on trips ... as it is , it works great ......see pictures for additional informations..THIS REEL WAS LAST PRODUCED IN 2007 AND IS A COLLECTABLE FOR THE TUNA FISHERMAN IN CA ...I HAVE 2 OF THESE ....THE DRAG CAN BE MODIFIED UP TO 100 LBS OF DRAG FOR THE LONG RANGE TRIPS IN SAN DIEGO ....any question , please ask .....
